Dr Henry Schaffer (NCSU) together with Drs Solomon (NCCU) and Mulugeta (MUSC) and Tsegga (IBM) gave a presentation on a proposal for an Ethiopian VCL – virtual computing lab to a group of experts in this technology that meet online.
The long term goal of this project lead by Dr Schaffer is to create an Ethiopian VCL. This is a great effort that would help higher learning institutions to have access to much needed academic and research resources.
